    The name of this village is Clooncagh. It is a very quiet village to live in but long ago I was very different. There were many battles fought in this village. This is how t got its name. The meaning of Clooncagh is battlefield.
    The next village to this is Tuam, the burnt grounds. After a battle the soldiers carried away the dead and buried them. Some years ago when men were working in Tuam they found bones.
