    Johnie Combock was also a Hedge Master he had a school near Tulsk but abandoned it for a happier if less noble occupation that of a tramp which was just as well considering. The teachers of these days got no salary except what the people were generous enough to give them in the way of food or clothing.

  2. There was a man living near Boyle and his name was Johnnie Donovan. He was a very poor man but he was constantly dreaming of a fortune that lay on the bridge of Athlone. After three years dreaming he set out on his Journey. He spent three days searching around the bridge but on the third day a shoemaker who lived near by walked out and asked him what he was looking for. Johnnie told him of the dreams he had. The shoemaker replied go home you fool I am ten years dreaming of a pot of gold buried under a bush in Johnnie Donovan's garden near Boyle. Do you know the mans
