  2. Story of Lessa Well

    Lessa well is situated about a hundred yards from Killronan Lake near Keadue in the Co. Roscommon. On the hill which over looks the well it is said that on top of this hill the well was at first and it changed to the bottom of the hill where it is now. Where it was at first there is a railing and a cross and under the cross there is a blessed clay which is supposed to cure diseases.
