- All the roads round about this district were made by the Frenches who were the Local Landlords. Long ago there used be races some place near Tully crossroads. There used be thousands of people there and all had to pay to watch the races. The money they got helped to make roads. There used be stalls all along the road from Carrowbehy crossroads to Tully crossroads.
