  1. There are many forts in this locality about which many old stories are told. This is a story about a fort in Driminagh. Once upon a time a family lived near the fort. One of the girls through curiosity wandered into the fort. To her surprise she saw the whole place covered with gold coins. She gathered up her pinafore to collect them and as she touched them a pretty little bird perched beside her. She gazed at the bird and when she looked towards the
