  1. Barnahalla Village is situated between Moyne and Buckhill. It is a fair sized village. The commonest names are in it are Hardimans and Finions. Mike Hardiman can speak Irish well. Some of the names have changed lately. John Wauldron's is Moffats and Dyans is Carthy's. Jim Maloney sold his place to Peter Moran a stranger. And Domlick Maloney's place is up for sale. Domlick Maloney died this year at the age of 106 years. He left Barnahalla six years ago and went to Ballaghaderin to his son. His house is gone to the wreck now. From Giblin's gate to Tom Wauldron's old house is supposed to be haunted. Several people have seen things there. There is a lone tree in John Wauldron's field and another in Ted Hardiman's. Sometimes the fairies go in to these trees other times the go farther.
    Katherine Rogers has stayed in bed for six years. When her brother goes to the shop she gets up. The people she isn't sick atall. She can bring butter from people and
