    chidren. When the chidren would grow up they would have to emigrate to England or America and they would pay the debt to their parents as soon as they can. Sometimes there would be nine or ten in a house and perhaps six or seven would have to emigrate. at the age of sixteen or seventeen.

  2. The name that is most common in my village is Beirnes. there are 18 houses in the village + ten out of these are families of Beirnes.
    All of these houses are built beside one an other + the old people say that long ago these were brothers + they had this village to themselves
    There is very (little) bad land in this village + some of them have only nine acres
    There is no slated house in this village all are small and thatched
