- The village I live in is Leitrim. It is a very big containing 48 houses and a public house namely "Levins" There are ten or eleven old people getting the pension. The commonest names are Connor's Mallaney and Creaton all the others are different. There are small farmers living on about six or seven acres of land and they get it very hard to rear a family on this amount because there are big familyes in this village. In our own [written above: "house"] there are eleven in it and the next house to us twelve in it and the next ten and many others too.
