About forty years ago there was a girl in America, who was a native of Sheeane, Co. Roscommon. While she was yet in America she had a dream that she would find a pot of gold near her home in Ireland. She also dreamt on her return to Ireland, the neighbours would be calling to see her. When three certain men were to call she was to leave the house and find the money. One of the three men was to lose his life. She returned to Ireland and about twilight of the evening of her return the three men came to see her. She got the money while they were in the house, and one of the men was found by his daughter that evening and he lying dead on the roadside.

So everything came to pass as she had dreamt, the girl found the pot of gold, but the man lost his life.
