  1. St Attracta's Day.
St Attracta's Day falls on the 11th August. There is a well called St Attracta's Well in Killaraght. It is on the roadside as you come from Boyle to Frenchpark. It is about four miles from Boyle. There is a fence about it, and steps lead down to it. This well was blessed by St Attracta. Many people used to visit this well between the eleventh and fifteenth of August, and they prayed beside it and performed stations there.
