    The care of our farm animals
    The horse is well brushed and gets a drink of meal and water, after that he gets oats and hay for fodder. He gets a set of shoes once every two months.
    When people are setting eggs they put a pencil mark on them. Friday is supposed to be a lucky day for setting them, but they are never set late in the evening, for if this were done people say when the eggs are hatched that the birds will be all cocks.
