- There is a field in Fennell's called the round-hill. It is so called because, it is very round field. There is one in Donnelly's called Kavanaghs field. It is so called because a man lived there and his name was Kavanagh. There is a field in Mr. Brennan's named garrets field. It is so called because a man by the name of Garret Brennan lived in a house built on that field. There is a corner named the dead mans corner. It is so called the dead man was seen in it.
