  1. There is only one holy - well in this district. It is situated in the townsland of Killgorey. Many people go to the well to visite it in Summer especially in the month of May. It is said that Saint Lon was the name of the saint which lived there. There is a little tree - trunk near the well many people say that at one time the well used to flow from this tree - trunk.
    Many people used to go to the well to get cured of different diseases and when they were cured they used to hang a red rag on the tree - trunk.
