  1. Some say that it is unlucky to start building a house on Saturday It is said that Thursday is an unlucky day to begin ploughing.
    Tuesday is also unlucky to begin working. Wednesday is supposed to be a lucky day to get married. It is said if you put on your stocking inside out you will have some bad luck during the day.
    If you meet a magpie on the road you will have bad luck. If you meet two magpies you will have good luck.
