    There is a woman in Killeshin named Mrs Curran. This woman is said to have a cure for childrens fever and the yellow jaundice. It is said that she cured many people of those diseases.
    If you have a sty on your eye, get a thorn off of a gooseberry - bush, and stick it in the sty, and it will go away.
