    in it long ago. There is a hill near Smyths which is known a "Smyth's" hill. This is so called because a man named Smyth used to sit on it when he had no work to do. There is a place called the "bharóg" on a field in Monavea which belongs to John Brennan. There is a field in Tolerton which is called the "bush" field This is so called because there is a bush growing in the centre of it.
