    "Brennan's Ruins"
It is a most remarkable place. The ruins which are many are on a height. To the north side, right under the hill, there is a deer caller - now thickly covered with stunted bushes and briars. It is surmised that the "White_Feet" were attacking from this valley.
The above information was got from Mr John Butler,
    The Doon,
    Stradbally, Leix
who died a few years ago at the big age of 95 years.
