    God bless Friday and Good Friday
    The day in which our Saviour was crucified
    The Jew passed by with naked sword in his hand
    and pierced our saviour through the heart
    His tender mother being standing by
    With a heavy sigh and dismal moan
    And anyone that says this prayer
    Three times by day and three times by night
    Shall be free from mortal sin and the gates of Hell
    Their souls shall never enter in
