  1. When the milk contained in the stem of Wart weed, to be found in all gardens is applied for nine mornings in the name of the Blessed Trinity, it cures warts.
    A Mullein plant also found in some gardens is a cure for consumption when the leaves are dried and used as tea.
    Garlic is a blood purifier and a preventative against cold.
    Dandelion when crushed and the juice extracted from the leaf is a cure for diseases of the liver etc. Ivy leaves are good for corns.
    Celery is good for rheumatism. It can be used as a vegetable in various ways.
