    she noticed it was not boiling. She added more firewood but still it did not boil. Then she was so much angered she put in a fork to stir the water when she withdrew it she saw the fish's eye on the top of the fork. She put the fish and water into the well.
    It is said that if a sick person sees this fish and believes in the intercession of Saint Fintan he will be cured.
