    the tree and dug down until he came to a round flag when, owing to lack of courage, he fainted. When he recovered he abandoned the search. The next day he asked the advice of the P.P. as to what he should do. The priest told him to fill in the hole and to plant a monument bush on the other side of the road opposite the place where the treasure lay. He did so and for a year he remained in bed. When he got up he emigrated and has never since been heard of. So till now the treasure lies untouched.
