    When the farmer is selling a cow and gets five pound it amounts to a shelling for luck. When they are selling a horse for ten pound it amounts to five shillings for luck. The bargain is made by beating hands. The local fairs are held in the towns.
    When a farmer sells a fat pig the luck amounts to about a shelling and when a farmer sells a bonaveen the luck amounts to about six pence.
