own uncle Kieran Holohan. The man that made the sign of the cross was my grandfather Joseph Holohan.
The person whom the priest was administering the sacrament of Extreme Unction to was my great grandmother Esther Dowling.
I heard about this from my father Castlecool, Ballinakill Laoghis. His is a labourer. He was born in Brandra he spent most of his life in Watercastle. He remembers the story himself.
It is about 45 years ago.
He was about 8 years of age at that time. He was living in Brandra. I wrote about monuments in this book on the 25th November 1938.
