    V marked on it. The roof is made of slates and they are cemented to the timber, the house is also very large.
    There are seven pieces of metal in a ring in the yard, and they are used for binding, when the binding is red, they have two lifters to carry the binding from the fire to the wheel, and then they have four dogs to hold the binding on the wheel till it is able to stay on while the wheel is lifted up, then the smith hammers the binding to close it to the wheel, after that they get water and pour it over the binding and when it cools the binding is very tight to the wheel. The binding is reddened with turf.
    My father is the sixth generation to be a blacksmith.
