I heard about Lime Kilns from my uncle James Gorman. Moate, Ballinakill, Laoighis. He is a farmer. He was born in Moate, and spent his time in Moate. He worked at the Kiln himself. The Kiln was working about forty years ago. He was about 30 years of age at that time, and he was living in Moate, Ballinakill, Laoighis. I wrote the story in this book on the 30th November 1937.

Thomas L Gorman Moate.
