Story told by Patrick Bergin (13 yrs) Farmer's son, Tubberbo Durrow.
I heard the following two stories from my father James Bergin 60yrs farmer Tubberbo Durrow Laoighis
About three generations ago a man in Tubberboe dreamt that there was gold hidden in Lawrence Fitzpatrick's moor in Tubberboe. He was given the following directions so that he would have no trouble in locating the treasure.
He was to go alone and at night.
Seeing four thistles and a lighted candle he was to dig and when he had found the treasure he was to get out of Lawrence Fitzpatrick's land as quickly as possible.
This happened three nights in succession and on the third night he was awakened and threatened by an unseen person that
