    It is said that May (that
    is a very unlucky month
    to get married and July
    is the very opposite. Before
    a man and woman get
    married their parents
    usually go into a public
    house to make arrangements
    with their friends. According
    to their means they would
    have to pay the preist
    for marrying them.
    If poor people
    get married, instead of
    going for a honey-moon
    they go out for a good
    day's driving.
    Long ago when
    people would be coming
    home from a wedding
    boys used pelt sods at them.
