  1. St Kyran is the patron saint of this district and he had his church and monastery in a place about one mile South of Errill on Mrs (Bowes?) land.
    About two hundred yards from the monastery there is St Kyran's well and about one hundred years ago there was a pilgramage to it on St Kyran's (Day?) which was a holiday then.
    As the opposite side of the graveyard there is St Kyran's tree and there was a well in the trunk of it. When ever a funeral is passing to
