When the cart was finished he would drive it back to Borris-in-Ossory and any goods that were going to Dublin. It took him three days to go to Dublin. At night he would pull into some field and at daylight he would continue his journey. When he reached the city he sold the timber of the cart for firewood. It would take him the same time to come home on horseback
