    Tom the Souser been a bookey, a thick headed man
    He says to Him Kenny oh, "how can it be, That Jim Hickey has won it by throwing thirty three.

    Then away to the dance he did go
    All with a young girl they call Bridie Keogh
    Bridie Keogh she got real fond of me
    And invited me down to her house for tea.
    III;
    Ellen got jealous and she says thats not fair
    And thats what made Wexford seem rather queer
    He says to his partner I hope you succeed
    While I'm going to P.Keogh to look for a feed.

    He went up to P. Keoghs he struck at a gate
    The lamp it been out and the fire it been raked
