One day a woman went into town. ...

One day a woman went into town. It was very late when she was going home and she had to go though the fields. When she was going home she had to go over a gap and when she went up to it she saw a woman with a white dress on her she thought it was her daughter who had come to frighten her. She passed on and when she went in her daughter was in bed and she did not know who the woman was. When the daughter got up in the morning she found her mother lying dead in the bed.
