    Once upon a time two people were living in Shrahane...

    Once upon a time two people were living in Shrahane named John Dooley and his sister. Kit one day and John went to a fair in Birr. HE was home about five o'clock. He was tired and fell asleep on the settle bed. When he was asleep Kitt killed him with a hatchet and buried him under a cock of hay. Guards were looking for him for a long time and they got him and the headstone in there still.
