Once upon a time there was a man shot in Ballaghmore. Some time after a Priest had a dog and one night it began barking. The Priest went out and he saw the man on his house pulling the thatch off his house. He told the man to get down but he did not. The priest went in and got his Prayer Book and read him down and put him under a bridge. The people began to get a smell and the Priest had to put him down in a dike in a field.
