    one evening at about six o'clock into a near by wood to look for his horse. He came upon a lot of people with a white cloth spread on the grass evidently going to have a picnic. He asked them if they had seen a horse and one of the men pointed to where the horse was grazing a few perches away. He thanked them and went for his horse.He came back the same way yet when he reached the place the people had all disappeared and though there was a house at each end of the wood no one saw them enter the wood or leave it.
