Once upon a time there was a man in Coolrain. One evening he went for his cows. He had a dog with him. He heard horses running around the field near where he was. The dog would not stir from the man. The man looked into the field and could see no one in the field. After some time other people were coming the same field. They heard the horses running around the field. They say no horses only a little white woman in the field.

Many people dreamt that there was a pot of gold in our field. They also dreamt that a fair haired woman was to find it.People have often lost their way in the field and often had to stay in it all night.
