There long ago there lived the old clan of the Dooleys. One of them was a school Teacher. He used to teach midnight school.Lizzie Dooley lived there in a thatched house. The ruins of the house are still to be seen in Windsor. He was a grandfather to Dan Dooley.

“One night Peter Brophy was out walking in a field...”
One night Peter Brophy was out walking in a field not far from his house and he saw cattle eating turnips. He went to put them away. He walked for a long time but the cows and the turnips seemed to move too.
He went home and the next morning he found three cows dead in a boghole.
