  1. (continued from previous page)
And a dance every night with true sons
So that's not bad (of the geal
For a lad of my size.
Don't think for a moment that I'm telling lies
My muse has forsook so I'll put out the light
Pleasant dreams comrade Shaun and a glorious good-night

  2. The Slieve Bloom Mts are rare to be seen. Above all other mountains it bears a great name. For a fishing and a fowling and a hunting also, and the finest of fruit on those mountains do grow.
On the top of this mountain a fair castle does stand. 'Tis embroidered all over from the top to the land. With torches in porches and the lamp shining bright. 'Tis a signal for sailors on a dark rainy night.
At the foot of this mountain the main ocean does flow.
And ships from the West Indies to Derry do go.
With the red flags a flying and the firing of guns,
With the sweetest of music and the beating of drums.
