Our farm animals are a horse,cows,sheep,goats,donkeys, a mule,hens and ducks,Our domestic animals are a dog and cat,We call our cows names such as,Fanny, Daisie, and Bell. When driving them out and we say "bale up" when calling them home,The cow house is white washed and kept clean having a shore to drain away sewerage.It is also called the byre.The cows are foddered each day with clean straw.They are tied in two ways; with chains around the neck or with a bale that is that is two stakes having a batch on top to put the cows head between.
There is a St,Binedict medal blessed for the protection of stock hung in the house and also
