Fairs in this locality are held on a day set aside for the occasion the third Tuesday of every month.On that morning cattle can be seen coming in from all parts of the district to the town and scattered all over the town where buyers from distant parts of the country and sometimes from cross channel give good prices to the farmers for their cattle,sheep,and pigs.In some places fairs are not held in the streets; fair greens are enclosed near the town and all animals are driven there early in the morning.
