    I have not got a churn at home but I have often seen one.It is about three or four feet in height and the sides are slanted in the top. The parts of it are churn the lid, and the dash, This churn I describe is an old time one,but the churns they use now are machine ones. They are barrel shaped and there is a handle out of one end by means of which the churn is worked,Butter is made a few times each week in Summer and once every week in Winter, The woman of the house dies the churning and sometimes the men give a hand, If
