  1. At certain times of the year I play certain games. In Spring I make dodge balls out of cowslips. I arrange the cowslips along a string and then I tie it. When it is completed it is circular in shape. Often times in Summer I go to swim. The local swimming place is the Cathole.
When Autumn comes I play a lot of games, especially on Hallow Eve night, I burn nuts, dive for apples and I play a game with three saucers. I also tie an apple to the ceiling and try to catch it while revolving. The Winter is a time in which a lot of games are carried on viz., card playing, draught playing and ring playing. Men and boys also play skittles. They put sticks on the road in a circular shape. Then they aim at them and try to knock one out.
