  1. There was a great wind in the year 1837. It began on the 6th of January, and lasted about six hours. This wind blew down a lot of houses, and a lot of people lost their lives, There was another great wind in 1903. It began on the 27th of February. There was a great snow storm in 1900.It began the 18th of March and did not leave the ground till the 1st of May, This snow storm prevented the farmers from sowing their crops.
