  1. There was a vicious bull in P _S field. Everyone in Rosenallis was afraid of him. One night Nicholas G_ had to go to P _S house on a message. He did his best to avoid the field in which was the bull.The night was intensely dark. He could scarcely see his way. G_ picked his way as well as he could.Thinking he was safe he went along by the ditch; when what happened next; but he stumbled over some big object. He heard a great snore, and then he realized that he had fallen over the bull. One can imagine how quickly the poor man took his heels out of the ditch. The bull however did not realize that his dreams had very nearly been interrupted.
