    ROPE MAKING;
    Made with straw or hay. A bit of stick is got, Two persons are working,one keeping the straw going adding the straw as it gets used up the other person twists the stick.This is called a sugán.
    FISHING;
    In the Barrow a stone is lifted up in the river and the trout or salmon or eel is stuck with a spade or fork, when it jumps out. A dam is made, in the river the fisherman go up the river and send down the fish into the waters of the dam.then lime is thrown in the water to kill the fish.
