  1. There used a hag live somewhere in Mountrath.
There was a boy here in this locality fond of drink, in fact a drunkard. This old hag had a cure for drunkards. So this boy's mother went to her. She got a bottle of stuff from the hag on condition that she kept her finger in the neck of the bottle. On her way home she fell out of the car but still she held on to the bottle and did not spill it. Her son drank it and whenever he used take a drink out of that bottle,it took several men to hold him. In the end he got cured.
This is the only story I know of a hag.
