    POOR SCHOLAR;
    There was a man named Captain Bernard who gave much employment in the Famine times, He had many horses and men and money and cultivated the mountains,He himself had no nose,and he offered a large reward to the person who could tell anything that men,money or horses could not do, The poor scholar read the notice and wrote underneath; All the men,money in the place,would not put a nose on Captain Bernards face.
