    A rainbow in the morning is the shepherd's warning, a rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight.

    The cat with her back to the fire is a sign of a storms. The dog eats grass and fairy winds are signs of storms.
    BIRDS;
    The robin comes to the door a sign of cold weather.The stares in flocks and crows cawing together a sign of rain. Hens crying,and ducks quaking, and frogs croaking, and crickets crying are signs of rain,Turkeys pick their feathers a sign of rain, When the crane flys up the mountain a sign of fine weather.When the gulls come inland it means bad weather at sea.When the swallows come early it means a short summer.When they go away early it means a short harvest.
