    ST, BRIGIDS DAY;
    On St, Brigids a small cross is made of oak.It is tied with rushes.It is hung in the porch or else stuck in the thatch,Rushes are burned on thaat day and the ashed are kept. If the water in a river or in a well is hot, there will be a fine spring.
    ST, PATRICK'S DAY;
    We pick shamrock and send it to our friends abroad. We wear it on that day we also wear a green badge. The band parades up and down the village.
    SHROVE;
    People get married and" matches" are made during that time..
    SHROVE TUESDAY;
    Pancakes are made for the tea,There is a ring put in one of them and it is said that the person
