    Dean Swift while on a visit to Gorey in Wexford,was one day walking along the road,At a sharp bend in the road he was knocked in the ditch by a carriage driven and owned by a local landlord knick named the "Ram of Gorey," The "Ram" asked him who he was, The Dean answered; "I am the great Dean Swift, Englands pride and Irelands glory, who was knocked in the ditch, by the Ram of Gorey,
