  1. Long ago people use to cure warts by cupping their hand in the forge water and rubbing their hand to the place where the warts would be, and do it for three days in succession and after the three days the warts would rot off.
    The people cured rheumatism by carrying a hot potato in their until the rheumatism would be cured.
    Another for warts was the people used to get a snail and rub it to the warts. Then they would put the snail on a thorn and when the snail would rot the warts would rot off of the persons hand.
    The people used to cure colds by boiling on ons and drinking the water every night.
